The outstanding quality of our wines is achieved by creating a very careful balance by choice of grape variety, location, limited juice extraction and fermentation.

We have greatly extended the use of oak barrels and are not afraid to mature white wines, especially Chardonnay, in this way. Our estate is a member of the Barrique-Forum, an organisation which enforces a high quality control and a minimum maturation time of 15 months in oak barrels.

It is nice to be recognised and we are very proud that many of our wines are awarded highly regarded medals, regional and national, year after year. Our estate ranks no 68 in the Top 100 wine producers of Germany and given that there are over 50 000, this is quite an achievement. We have been honoured on many occasions for achievements around the wine and are also a member of the Pro-Riesling Association. The national and trade press always gives us very favourable coverage
